Princess Cruise Lines Coral Princess which is on her way to Ft. Lauderdale and estimated to arrive on April 4th has now confirmed at least 12 positive cases on board.

Holland Americas Zaandam and Rotterdam were permitted to dock at Port Everglades. Any crew of guests showing symptoms will need to stay onboard while at the port. Only critically ill guests and crew will be taken to hospitals. Carnival which is the parent company for Holland America will cover all expenses.

Fred Olsen cruise lines have donated a container of fruit and vegetables to local charities in Barbados. The container was originally destined for their ship the Braemar who never arrived at the port due to the port stop being canceled.

Richard Fain Chairman and CEO of Royal Caribbean has announced he will forego his base salary until September 30, 2020. As well other executives have agreed to a 25% reduction in their salaries.

Genting cruises extend their cruise as you wish program though March 31st, 2021. Similar to other cruise with confidence programs this allows you to change or cancel your sailing up to 48 hours before your cruise and receive future cruise credit.
